Dr. White went on a mission to grab a stereo binaural recording that would be the equivalent of you sitting in an easy chair staring at the beach. Picture yourself in the center of a perpendicular jetty, with your right ear hearing the rolling waves coming off the Dog Beach, Mission Bay Channel Jetty, and your left ear hearing the rolling eaves breaking into the sands of Ocean Beach, with a cascading and diminishing roll happening as the waves course down towards the pier. The longest pier on the West Coast can be seen in the cover photograph taken by Mike Green at MG Creations. The sonic characteristics of this particular recording have a deep and pleasing nature as the subtleties of the various features of the Mission Bay Channel and the rocks of both jetties create nice water breaks and splashes.
